I know this is a little late, but I have had a busy few weeks. This is my first semester at HPU, and I can honestly say this is a wonderful change. I got my associates degree at LCC, and I was a little nervous to start off at a new campus. The people here have made the change a lot easier, and the windward campus is like a breath of fresh air.
I've really enjoyed this class in particular. There are so many interesting guest speakers, with a lot of information and wisdom to offer. One speaker specifically stood out to me. She spoke about GMO vs organic foods. She really opened up to our class about her struggles, and how organic eating has changed her life. It really got me thinking about the way I live. I am probably one of the least healthy eaters out there, and her presentation got me questioning my way of life. I even had a discussion about what I learned with my mom. Perhaps this is the start of something new for my family... I sure hope so!
